Tyres for Tavera

Folks,

I am planning on upgrading the tires for my Dad's Tavera SS. The vehicle is currently running on the stock Bridgestone which are tubed tyres.

The specs are 205/65 R15 99S. It comes with the stock alloy wheels. So, I am looking at a tubeless tires.

I am looking at the following options

1. Bridgestone ER60
2. Michelin XM1+

Is there are any other options available with the Yoko/Conti?

Yoko has the A drive, Continental has the CPC2.

You can also look at the Michelin Primacy LC. Lovely tyre.

If you ask me, I would say forget the XM1+s, ER60s, A drives. Finalise it on either the Conti or the Primacy LC. Since it's a private car, putting good tyres is worthwhile. My suggestion is the Primacy LC. Expensive but totallty worth it.

Get the Primacy LC! It's much better than anything among these!

Spoke to a dealer here, he is quoting 5350/- for the PrimaryLC, Wheel Balancing & Alignment extra!

He also told me that there are some issues with the Conti and suggested against it!

It was Mahendra Tyre Care, Besant Nagar, Chennai!

I will check on the issues that he quoted with Conti when I visit their shop in the afternoon!

Got the Yoko A-drives fitted on the Tavera at Tyrestore.

The CPC2 was unavailable and I dint like the MPLC pattern

And the tyre was immediately put to test in blinding rain. It coped up really well!

Thanks to all your support!
