BHPian ![]() | ![]() Hey I'm back (yet again)! And now, my ageing 99 Zen must go. I've been thinking of replacing that a shiny new Alto LXi. I'm getting a decent rate for my Zen - around 85k. What do you think? I have League 13x5.5 rims on my zen right now. I will be putting the same rims on the Alto, which means I'll need new tires. My actual question is .. can the same rims that I have on my zen be used on the alto without any issues? Also, what tires would you recommend? And then... maybe someone here needs a set of brand new Alto 12" tires? How much would those go for? - Aalaap Last edited by aalaap : 20th November 2007 at 15:17. |

If your rims have only 4 holes then u will have to buy a new set for your alto.

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() aalap.. The alloy in the pic can't be fitted in your Zen..May be the same design but the same alloy in pic. Zen has 4 holes rims and the alloy in pic has 5 holes. |

Anyway, all this might be a bit irrelevant .. I just saw the interiors of an i10 last night, and I'm having difficulty thinking about any other car. The i10 era power steering, power windows, tubeless tires, etc. is 3.92 ex, so probably around 4.4 on. I think I'm converted....I feel like living in that damn thing... A nice 360-degree view of the Hyundai i10 Thanks for the help anyway, guys! - Aalaap

| ![]() The stock tyres on my 2001 Alto is nearing it's life-cycle....so it's time to get it replaced ! Currently, it's having 145/80 R12 tyres. I'm not upgrading tyres/rims since I'm fully satisfied with the ride quality & handling. So is there any other alternatives sizes for 145/80 R12 which offers the same feel ? So which size should I go as the replacement option for my stock tyres ? |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() The best option in 12" would be bridgestone Turanza ER60 145/80-12. I'm not sure about Michelins in 12". Ishan please confirm |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Sometime back Michelin was planning to launch XM1 in 12". I'm not sure if they have launched it or not. PM Ishan or wait for his reply. Last edited by kpzen : 30th April 2008 at 23:14. |
