Which alloys for an Octi?

Take a look at these 4 designs and let me know which ones you think would suit a white Octi best. Looking at 16 inchers.

Remember that the TDi has drums on the rear, so the 5 spokes would allow the ugly drum to stick out.

Yup, you may have guessed that I like #2 the best. Never seen them on another car before and they have a nice 1 inch deep dish to them!

Dude, you've got a white car, you don't even need an excuse to slap on black wheels. I would take number 03, but only in black.

Tnx for that Rehaan. It does look a bit too glittery actually, though I like the heavy look, which I think geos well with the rest of the car. And I'm also getting nightmares about cleaning those wheels and the hundreds of (fake) bolts in them.

Hey man,

Well thats just my fault, i donno how shiny they will actually be, heres a duller version (looks better IMO) >

I guess the best way to figure out the shinyness is to go to the alloy shop and get pappu to hold the wheel on your car while you look at it from a distance....

Hmm..now to find an alloy shop with a guy called "pappu"!

What about these wheels guys? I know they are very common, but still...

My choice is #3. That design looks a hell lot better than the others, IMO. And isn't it similar to what NC has on his Octi? I think it'll really suit pretty much any car other than a hatchback.

RT, i dont like the round spokes design at all. The pic you just posted looks much better. But I'd still go for design #3.

5 spokes look damn good.
Also the 5x2 design above is nice.
From the original pic my choice would be #3 which would hide your drum also.

Nonononono,

Those alloys are so common on the octi (but thats not the problem) IMO they just dont suit the octi at all....

I guess one good thing for you is that your car is white,,which seems easier to match alloys to (atleast IMO)

Heres the photoshop of option 3 -

Doesn't look bad, but kinda boring esp if you are shelling out for 16"ers

Rtech, I seen a silver Octavia with amazing black/silver alloys at Choksi's. They were five-spoke and maybe 16in or 17in. Will try to get a pic if I see it again, hope its not too late by then.

EDIT: It was somehwhat similar to #3 but much better than it.
