the_trooper’s Team-BHP Garage
1983 Rajdoot Yamaha RD350 (sold)
Engine Specifications:
  • 2nd OS Mahle Pistons
  • OE Yamaha Con-Rods
  • CB Points
  • Stock Carbs
Engine Misc.:
Turbocharger & Induction:
  • Does Torque Induction count? Ok, ok. Dont take off on me.
Fuel & Tuning:
  • Pure adultrated 87 Octane fuel + 2t Oil
Exhaust:
  • OE Exhausts with Rajdoot Mufflers (unavailability of original)
Drivetrain:
  • Stock 6-speed gearbox.
  • Final drive - Chain
  • Helical Primary
Suspension, wheels & tires:
  • Original front forks with scratched fork tubes (not so visible unless you look really close) and oil seals taking a beating, like any other 20 year old RD fork.
  • 'Original' rear shock. Again, 20 years old. Hard as rock.
  • Turned a blind eye to both due to lack of suitable options.

My quest for a 'stock' looking RD ended here.

My quest for a 'stock' looking RD ended here. RX indicators, cheap and best. Note RAJDOOT on tank, not Yamaha :P DSC00885.jpg
