Yes, it was time for the 3 to go. I absolutely loved it. It was heart-wrenching to see it being driven away. It was also getting difficult to get a buyer as with the current economic scenario, very few people were ready to shell out a large sum of money. But, the guy who bought it really loves cars and the 3 would be taken care of, I am sure.
