Yeah, she's still in the family, but not as good as she was back when she was "my baby" in 2006. A fresh coat of the same gold paint cleaned up her looks back in 2009, but without my TLC I'm afraid she has many more creaks and groans now.
Engine has never been overhauled, but is starting to show its age with over 100k on the odo - smokes like crazy on a cold start on winter mornings, but runs ok once she warms up. Replaced the clutch too at around 95k and it bought some zing back into her acceleration. Brakes are still razor sharp with new pads roughly every 15k kms.
Wasn't getting what she was worth back in 2006 when I moved overseas, so I decided to keep her in the family "till the doors fall off".
