The Laura's all new 1.8-litre turbo petrol engine that is simply amazing. Astounding performance makes this the quickest sub 2.0-litre litre car.
In fact its better than much larger cars with bigger displacement and more power. Fuel efficiency is adequate but I wouldn't expect wonders from an engine tuned for sterling performance.I love the engine, but I find the gear shifts arent smooth enough or quick enough to keep up.

Santoshbhat	Stunning car with a stonking engine! Don't cross 210 kph though. Your tyres will hit their speed limit before your car reaches its speed limit. Michelin XM1 is H rated and is not for high speed cars like the Laura TSI . Your TSI deserves better shoes. V rated or higher.	12th August 2011

hvishwanathan	Ya low's are on HID's. The tints are a bit dark not so much that the affect driving. Guess the lip was for around 3000.	6th August 2010
Akki_5	1. Did you convert your low beam to HIDs as well? Did you get it done at Skoda Service center? 2. Which tints have you installed? Aren't they a little too dark for comfort? 3. How much did you pay for the lip?	6th August 2010

hvishwanathan	Thanks man, She runs on SPEED (Bharat petroleum) Fogs come with yellow light bulbs which have been later upgraded to HID's	3rd April 2010

hvishwanathan	hey guys i wanted to upgrade the rims and tyres to 17". but warned by some of our very own bhpians about the harsh drive quality. so thats the reason let those remain to a 15" but changed from good year to Michelin Energy XM1. Now the drive is much smoother.	12th March 2010
