A departure from the standard bullet styling and the age old engine design of having the crankcase and gearbox separate, the Thunderbird Twinspark brought in a lot of new things which became standard in the Royal Enfields that came later.

Of course I did not know any of this while buying it. The bike served the purpose of a long distance cruiser better than the other models of the time.

Bought in 2012, used, from its second owner.
