Re: Bangalore Club Vintage Car Rally - Ravi Prakash Collection

Pardon my ignorance, Is the good doctor not having any vintage Jeeps in his collection? what a shame. Antique jeeps from pre independance era would certainly complete the lineup.

Just my thoughts.

Warm Regards

Cannot recollect VW but I am sure he would have added a few by now. However with Doc's reach I am sure he can add these to his collection at any point of time.

Cheers

Umm..well maybe Ajmat did not think it was important to click few pics of the WW jeeps? Well not to blame Ajmat ofcourse, the jeep isn't extinct like other beauties parked there,is it because,Jeep does exist in our daily lives in various other forms?

Warm Regards and long live the Jeeps.

Re: Bangalore Club Vintage Car Rally - Ravi Prakash Collection

Thatsa a possibility, Pity the doc,who does not love jeeps. The jeeps have atleast a very honourable past of having served in defence of the nation, as compared to all the other beauties put together. No doubt the cars of the yore have a story each to tell. I am reminded of the scores of old hindi films, where the grand ol' nanny commands the naukar-chaakar-- " baby ko motor me, rail ki station tak chhod aao", baby in this case would be a lass of 18 and motor would probably be one of the docs collection.

Warm Regards

Re: Bangalore Club Vintage Car Rally - Ravi Prakash Collection

Now I can rest in peace. God bless the good doctor and may the doc's problems be settled. Afterall its the BHPians who are bothered most with other peoples cars(including own), why ban them for their genuine concern?

Warm Regards

Here is a picture of a Stude which Doc acquired from Dominator many years back. There is a history to this car from Karnataka context hence would request Dominator to tell us.

KPS - Without being modest , I would have preferred you to relate the history of the car because , you and your father have a great insight on the history of cars in Karnataka. The car was first registered in the name of Shri K.V. Puttappa, a.k.a KUVEMPU, legendary kannada poet. Passed on to Doc in 2002. Over to KPS.
