Friends, These are the Photos of Gujarat Vintage & Classic Car Club, Ahmedabad's "GVCCC Ahmedabad Heritage Drive" which took place on 24th November,2013. This was flagged of by Deputy Municipal Commissioner from The place were foundation Stone of Ahmedabad was Laid "THE MANEK BURJ",at oldest heritage bridge "Ellis Bridge". Then the Rally drove via few Heritage places of the city and terminated with fellowship at Sports Club.
The drive had 22 cars. SUBODH NATH

Dear Friends,
Gujarat Vintage and Classic Car Club, Ahmedabad Recently on 15th and 16th February participated with 30 cars in "Great Indian Heritage Fest, 2014" at cultural capital of Gujarat, VADODRA. I was since long thinking of creating long drive for my members and here i got the opportunity. After coxing I was able to convince members to drive. Thus 20 cars drove on 15th morning and enjoyed th drive and returned after the show on 17 th morning. fortunately none of the cars had big problems other than minor hicups.
I will upload some photos in near future. Slowly we are growing.

Last Batch Of Pics In The Great Indian Heritage Festival, Vadodara. There Was A 15 Kms Rally Around The Cultural Capital Of Gujarat.

Nice to see the Carden again. It was offered for sale around 1985, was supposed to be in Baroda. Its a British Cyclecar, and most likely the only one in India. Seems to have been repaired/modified a bit. The monogram



which fits on the grill is missing.
The number plate is strange to me.

Forget it, are cycle cars supposed to be registered?

I would opine that the registration number is a false one, just present for display purposes.

Because -

i} The plates look to be made in a British manner, which would be correct, because the Carden is English built.

ii} I am quite certain a "JYN" Registration did NOT exist.

on the car it was written Gordan 1916 the owner said everything is original though it looked as restored. has 2 cylinder engine.
