I dont think so, this gentleman was quite busy ensuring all vehicles were tagged and parked etc.

I did not know what you looked like !! Since you were really busy and engaged, I thought it was best not to disturb you. I was there since 8.30. Tall person wearing the blue Intel cap!

Next time, I will definately hook up with. Your good information on the rally prompted me to ensure coverage!

Really had a blast. The Taj West End Hospitality was fantastic and we really thank them and Prestige Group for sponsoring the lunch




As you know Taj West End was celebrating 125 years. The had displayed pictures of the hotel over the years. Found two car pictures



Our Plymouth attracted lot of attention. People liked the colour scheme a lot. The club members too appreciated the car as a welcome addition to the club.

I did a small interview with NDTV (not sure if it will come though) and others....


Will post pictures soon after I sort them out.

Hi,

Yes, the chevrolet impala was in bad state with the trim screwed in with screws all along the length, but it somehow seemed to get a lot of attention!

The jaguar belongs to Advaith motors i suppose, there was a sticker on it which said Advaith in case Advaith and Khodays are one and the same, i apologize.

This car said Willy's Knight on it.

This vauxhall was quite ugly and strange. Is this how it is supposed to be?

Some pics from my end. Very similar angles to the pics which Ajmat has posted, hence posting very few, sorry if it looks repeated.

It was a very nice rally with lot of nice cars, it was very nice to meet KPS as well. Thank you sir for taking the time to show your car.

Is that Beige and black tourer, car no 10 a Chevy......looks really nice.

That Vauxhall could be called a Fauxhall !!! LOL would be interesting to knwo how it morphed into that particular shape and who did the job on it !

The Blue Willys is a Knight for sure and I think it was pictured here when it belonged to someone in North India

This is a 1932 Chevrolet Eagle which appeared for the rally for the first time. This car was originally owned by the Late Ravi Kumar who sold it on to one our very senior KVCCC member, who has since passed it on to his grandson. I was very happy to see this car and the grandfather and grandson duo drive this car around. Must say that she ran very well



This dash looks superior to the Sundaram Chevy






DKG, if you see this, you may recollect that I had mentioned about this Eagle in Bangalore


This Willys Knight from Doc's stable made its maiden appearance. Seems to have some royal lineage. The car was burning oil unfortunately.







The Graham is indeed a beautiful car. This car also ran very well.

Not a Graham Paige, but just Graham - Blue Streak. It was a north India car, restored in Bombay, and I assume now sold.

I think the car was ex Khimsar, and later with Titus. Sleeve valve engine I think, notorious!

Do try for an event earlier in the year next time round, participants would have been very uncomfortable. Great show either way!

Isnt the Blue Streak part of the Mallya Collection ?

The Chevy Eagle has a very well restored look , any idea who sis teh job. The colors also suit it well and the grille is far better looking that the later models !

I spoke to the grandfather - very proud of it. He has owned it for 35 years. He drives it once a week. The car belonged to the ex Maharaja of Indore.

Thanks for correcting me - I got mixed up. There was very little info on the cars so you had to scurry and remember what you could.

Most of the cars came from Dr Ravi Prakash and Khodays/Advaith and remaining from various individuals
