I went for a weekend break at the Udai Bilas Palace, Dungarpur, Rajasthan. Apart from the classic palatial suites, infinity pool, royal meals and superb service provided to all guests, the current Kuvarji - "Prince" has a display of some nice cars (some vintages and a few new), bikes and a model airplane - to go with a fantastic one-of-a-kind sports bar!

The resort has been rated 4.5 stars out of 5 by Tripadvisor for the year 2012.

Most likely its a replica, wonder what kind of powerplant it has.

The best car is the green XK followed by the Packard and the Steyr

To be frank, I don't really know each and every model that was displayed here, but the make. The light blue/violet one looked like a Shelby Cobra from a distance, but surprisingly enough, it had BMW wheels on it. No logos, markings anywhere else on the car. Looked as if this one was undergoing restoration.

Can Vintage car gurus list the make/model/year of these cars

I cant see the Buick in the pics...or am i mistaken that Udaibilas palace also had a fine Buick of the 40's?

Thanks for sharing the pix. Something different for a change from the boring, stereotypical stuff here usually, nowadays.

Interesting old Beemer, the golden one with DDB regn; don't see them anymore. The vintage Steyr (green cabrio) was displayed at the last Cartier in Delhi. Still in the original patina I believe.

What a collection. I love the way they have displayed the Automobiles and the memorabilia that has been displayed. The chevy pick up is nice and so is the Jeep and the replica AC cobra (porbably). It would be nice to have detailed pictures of Chevy Pickup and the Jeep like engine bay and interiors.

Lovely display, is it open to public in general or do you have to stay there? I noticed some old pictures blown up and hung on the wall, can someone please take good pictures of them?

I would rate the cars in the following order, Steyr, XK120, Packard, Chevy pick-up and then the rest including the Standard. Cobra does not figure as we don't know what it is.

I stayed here and I got to see it. But this display is housed in a different building/warehouse - a one minute walk from the resort! I am guessing they open it only for guests at the resort, otherwise the shutters stay closed.

These are all the pics that I took. The cars were so enticing that I hardly looked at the old blown up pics on the wall. Maybe whoever goes there next can have a more detailed set of pics.

That was some collections .Just feast for the eyes, if some American beauties where also present(post 50s land yachts) it would have been more complete.

Nice. Very nice Indeed. I see a Shelby Cobra but I'm sure it is a Kit car. Wonder what engine it has.
