Classic Mercedes Meet in Bangalore. Sunday 16th Sept 2012

Folks we have organised a Mercedes Classic Meet-up in Bangalore.The idea is to connect with other owners, chat, exchange info on reasonable parts suppliers, help/facilitate/point folks with technical problems to reliable solutions/service providers.last but not the least OGLE at each others Cars.We have 15 confirmations via our Mercedes Benz India - FB page (Link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/253839321370099/)hope to see more folks/fellow Tbhpians.

Venue is Jayanagar 5th block 10th main,near shalini grounds.
as of now we have confirmed few w140's ,w124's,probably a few 126's.

mercs are always a delight to watch.

A line up of well maintained beautiful red, white , blue , silver and black mercedes cars.

it seems that some snaps are of memory size larger than the limit. will find a way out soon.

Nearly a dozen benz owners and enthusiasts met up. Few more photos attached . We enjoyed breakfast after the meet .

On Sunday 21st October, 2012 , we propose to meet again in larger numbers. All classic and vintage mercedes owners are personally invited ! Owners may please help and quickly SMS 09845194814 their mercedes car registration numbers , class & model , year of mfg , colour and owners' name & address, and help us keep all better informed about the same and everything important in future.

Bangalore Mirror newspaper 08.10.2012 issue ( page 3 ) also carries an article about us.

I shall try to post the larger pictures soon.

Several w124s and w140s and a w123 were there & there was a dark blue 190D that came briefly last time. Hope to see the car again. I may also bring my w201 white 190 this time.

All those who couldn't come last time, must come this time to enhance the quality of the meet. Bangalore has always been home to dozens of gleaming Mercs. It would be great to see all those Pontons, Fintails, Compacts & 123s again this time. Would definitely make my day! Benz owners please spare some time and display your prized wheels.

Recently, it was debated whether the 80s VW golf was a 'classic' car. Many varied views. In the same spirit, really how 'classic' is a w201 (190) of the 80s? I invite opinions of all.

The W201 in my opinion is a modern classic!
