Maharaja cars at Retromobile 2014, Paris

We showed the pictures of Harit's Humber to His Highness Maharaja Raghvendra Singh Dev, the present Maharaja of the former princely State of Korea.

He could recollect the car and was glad that she survives in good condition. At our request he was kind enough to pen his wishes on the back of the photograph and has written a letter to Harit expressing his happiness.

I am still trying to find anyone who knows anyone important going to or involved with the Bollywood awards in Tampa Florida. I was born and raised there and know people there.

I am also interested in taking my Maharaja car there if anyone involved with the event would be interested. I would drive them around, allow them to use it in the show, whatever.

The Peter Mullin Delahaye which was shown at the Retromobile Maharaja section was also shown at the Retro Classics show in Stuttgart. These days in almost every similar car show where dealers, auction houses, parts suppliers, clubs etc. participate, some themed dispalys are shown to attract the general public. At Retromobile there were several where one was the Maharaja cars, here at Stuttgart the display was focussed on French cars. The Delahaye was a part of this and displayed at the entrance very prominently on a turntable. Other French cars included Delage, Bugatti, Voisin, Salmson, Hotchkiss etc.
The pics are of the Delahaye, and a Bugatti Royale replica built on a Packard chassis, but with the Royale engine.
