This being the centenary year for the Morris, there was a special display for Morris cars.

Hindusthans, like fiats, were very few..Ditto with Standards... surprisingly, Both the Heralds at the show were LHDs

Here you go! The amazon was brilliantly restored, like the rest of the owners cars.

Lovely pics JayD! But seems you missed the 1100D with Alloys! Do check if you have the pics of the same.

The SuperSelect was a good resto too! The color looks pretty similar to my SS in this picture than it was in flesh

Yes you're right there were certainly fewer Standards than before. Good to see a couple of Heralds there atleast. There was one lovely Black Standard Herald mk1 MYB 6890, a very early example, wonder if its still around. Mr. CS Ananth, what about your 12/50 Herald?

I was waiting for the bike pictures - I know Dussey and the like had some nice bikes out there - unless you have put up another thread with the bikes ?

Posting pics of my entries bikes & cars. I had entered a 1959 Lambretta Li Series 1 and a 1954 BSA C-11 250cc apart from my '38 Merc 170v, '42 Ford GPW & Bantam T-3 Trailer and '46 Morris 8 Series 'E ' Tourer.

Brilliant and great pictures, looking at these cars brings back nostalgic memories, i spent my childhood days in Harrington Road and was privileged to view and go on a ride on some of these beauties. My dads first car was a Morris minor and boy it was a great car. I definitely missed this event but thanks to this thread I felt like having seen the cars in person.

These are some really well maintained cars and the brilliant photographs really capture them in all their beauty.

Just out of curiosity, what was the criteria for the selection of these cars by the organizers. A Hillman or a Karmann or for that matter a Dukker FIAT hardly qualifies as a vintage car. I know the term "Classic car" is not clearly defined, but this is stretching things too far.
