Hello KPS ,

Easy - when I first saw the car it still had the body and agency detail plates.

Mahindra CJ3B Rotting @ Government's Revenue Dept. Office in Dadar !!

Spotted this Mahindra CJ3B (with L-Head/F-head (?) Hurricane Petrol Engine) rotting to earth on the backside of Indian Government's Dept. of Revenue office; in one of the by-lanes of Ranade Road, Dadar (West).
Its registration seems to be MMC 9821, which has been painted on all its wheels.
Feeling really sad to see this monster kept like this by our Government. The guards in the office told me that this Jeep has been rotting here since almost last 9-10 years. Really a very pitty site.

This is a Standard Pennant, same colour combo as mine! 'looks like a restoration project abandoned midway!

PS: any chance of getting some parts off it, like the side-trims, door handles etc?

Boss it must be MMG and not MMC because MMC belonged to scooters and motorcycles of 1975/76 years and MMG was introduced in 1972 for Light Motor Vehicles. Regards.....

It looks like the engine wasnt fitted to this car but just dumped there, considering this car is just being used as a shelf/storehouse!!

The tail light is from the CJ4A/500D and so are the orange rear indiicators. The steering wheel is from the CJ4A/500D and so is the button that had a silver and red plate with Mahindra written on it. The meters and switches are all from the CJ4A/500D.The colours and letters from the horn button are now gone.
BUT THE GREATEST SURPRISE???? Is the letter "W" from Willys on the bonnet chrome ornamentation!

The plate says NC670. NCs were pick-up trucks. I think what we have here is an old pickup which has had a body built by some garage. Those lines are too straight and crude to be from a production car.
