This Rover P2 has just arrived in Jaipur from Delhi, no papers, no engine, no grill . Can be a donor car for Body parts though !!
The blue one (Austin?) would look great as a hotrod. Do the body works, make it a low rider, plonk in a powerful engine and transmission, viola you have the perfect American dream.

Such a waste to let them rot.

While it is a shame, it got me wondering how a simple element like faired in headlamps if executed correctly, could transform the look to something much more premium Looks larger too, wonder if its a Topolino at all.

It was a Fiat Topolino all right.

But who are we to pass holier-than-thou judgement on the owner of an extinct tinpot dinosaur, the right to modify it any way he or she pleases?

The bonnet vents on the Herald indicate it (was) an early model. The bonnet seems to have had its nose extended up front beyond the bumper support bracket. Surprisingly the side trims are all still intact!

Re: Rust In Pieces... Pics of Disintegrating Classic & Vintage Cars

Today I saw this car near Dellhi. The cover couldn't be taken off as there was limited access. Probably I will get to click more pictures very shortly.

Re: Rust In Pieces... Pics of Disintegrating Classic & Vintage Cars

OOOPPPPPS!!!Someones got to rescue her. Though, I assume restoration could turn out to be a bit pricey. The roof seems to be caved. However, if it has the original petrol engine in there , its worth saving.

Is it (the car) photographed in some sort of a salvage yard, looking at the last picture?

Dear Manish,

Can you please find out whether this car is for sale? Or atleast the owner wants to sell some of the parts!
I am very much interested to procure some of these items and if possible please share the location and the contact details.

Warm Regards

This looks like a late Valiant, maybe Plymouth or Chrysler. Maybe even a Dodge product, maybe I am wrong, but there are similarities to the Nagpur car.

Cheers harit
