Saw this Landmaster lying unattended in Jamshedpur. Spoke to the security guard of the house who told that the owners live in Mumbai and visit Jamshedpur once a year. The guard was not able to provide any contact details of the owner either.

Used to be a running car not so long ago, with later E-Class lights grafted in.

A Premier Padmini in a sad state, spotted in Ranchi.

Had been to Trend Automobiles, Bangalore, to get PDR done for a friend's car. Spotted this outside their facility.

Going by the WMB regn. and the position of the bootlid badge, I suspect tis a '73-74 Premier President, with a Padmini grille.

I can count 7 Mercedes emblems in this one frontal photo. 4 on the grille and 3 on other parts. The person who is responsible for this atrocity must be desperate to show that he owns a merc!

Just had a closer look at the pic. of the rear, and confirmed that it indeed is a President, with the original speedometer/instrument cluster visible, as well as the original thin-rimmed steering wheel:

The earliest Presidents and the last batches of the Fiat 1100 D's had the black dialled speedos (Mr Samanyu Chitte's President owner's manual pictures, posted by me on teambhp recently).
It changed to white dial (as seen in this picture) by 1973.
The Padminis from mid 1974 onwards then came with the greyish black dialled speedo that lasted upto the early 1990's.
