Totally botched up for commercial use, perhaps during its later phase. A diesel under the bonnet won't be surprising. The dash is a jugaad, the steering is from the 1980's Mahindra CJ 500 D. The rear has been modified with the new door and the carved out windows. The tail lights are borrowed from somewhere else.

There is the original differential on the front wheels indicating it was a 4 X 4. There used to be a 2 wheel drive version of the Willys Station Wagon, that used to have different side chrome trims. And they also came with the normal white wall, nylon tyres as OE.

These Vehicles are lying with West Bengal Excise department in Kolkatta, supposed to be auctioned off. There is a Jeep FC as well. Which my friend will click later.

This is how the car looked, when sold in 2013 from Raichur. The car was in single ownership of a Doctor. I understand this was bought by a techie from Bangalore. Hope that this is only temporary and she will be restored.

This car has changed parking spots frequently in the last 3 years, but in the same vicinity. I see this car rusting away in glory during my commute to work everyday. Infact me and Late BD Sir had once planned to go to the workshop, where this car was parked earlier (diagonally opposite Silver Jubilee Motors Pimpri showroom), to check the history of this car. However, I am sure he was more interested in the Fiat Super Select which used to be parked at a nearby workshop. Sadly, the plan never got materialised.

This BMW is now parked near the Ajmera grounds (New Telco Road) in Pimpri, Pune.

Stanher, Is it at all possible to find out if the Buick Super 8 is for sale?
I am looking to buy some run down American behemoth like this for a future project, the key here is the price. It has to be available cheap with papers ( dare I say a lakh ) cause any attempt at restoring them is going burn a deep , very deep hole in my pocket.

Yes this car is lying somewhere on the service road between Vile Parle and Andheri. Was told that it's there for restoration.
