A known person went to pick it up, advanced for it as well and it was removed from the current place and taken to another place and kept but till date the garage guy/broker who had given the contact could not get in touch with the owner so it remains abandoned. Surprising thing is that it still has its bluebook.

Doesn't seem like it's abandoned. Seems more like a Work in progress. Hopefully the owner resumes the restoration, or has the good sense to let it go to better hands. The car seems to be quite complete and original too.

Found this old beauty on outside of a private property. Some local kids were jumping on its roof top. I couldn't resist myself and asked them not to be such cruel with a classic car like this. Also went to the guard of the house and requested him to take proper care of it. Further discussing with him, he informed that few days ago engine was fired and it responded very well. It is not for sale as it belongs to late father of the present owner. He is looking for some restorer. By the way the badges on the car suggested it to be "Chrysler Windsor", but I couldn't get similar types of car on net or even Team-BHP. The registration no. suggests that it may be imported in period of 1970-75. Request you all to give more details on it.

Found this gem near Shantiniketan, the idea I think is to showcase the glory of the owner who happened to be related to the freedom fight of India. The car though is in a dilapidated state. Someone should step in to bring her back to glory

I believe it is an Opel. Will have to search out the exact model (Rekord / Kadett / Kapitan ?) and year.

In the pictures you have posted, the name "Rekord" is visible on the one from the rear left side. The car's front chrome grille on either ends has been done away with it appears, with replaced, body colour metal sheets having been welded.

More similar to the one here on this link, though this is a 1962 Opel Rekord Coupe.
