More rusting jalopies @ hyd...

Hi all,

Got more to add now....herez a 1961-62 Hillman Super Minx (imported) rotting away at a garage at secunderbad (hyd.)....they said the owner left it in the 'care' of one of the garages in this compound years ago, paying them arnd 10k every year to 'look after' it!! .....never wants to sell it...!

It looks like even the engine has been taken out.....the only salvageaeble parts from this car cud be the door handles & maybe the dashboard....!

Btw, I suspect the front windscreen isnt the original one & taken from a car like a Herald....cos the A pillar looks too 'broad'....

Okie dokie guys......

Herez a rare Lambretta Li (called series 1), w/ the 'centre headlight' I photo'd at Vizag, AP, in dec. 2003....I was studying in Singapore then & had come home on holidays so cudnt buy it even tho I wanted to! :(

It was lying w/ a scooter mech. (who later on became my mech.) for many months; the owners had neglected it for long & gave it to him to be fixed but eventually lost interest in it....he didnt hav ne space to keep it so he finally decided to sell it for scrap & the owners let him do so....!

Of course its got a Lamby 150 mudguard (the lambretta ones, esp. early ones r broader/heavier) & the side-panels wer changed to the clip-on type instead of the handles...but otherwise it wud've been very restorable.....neone seen this type of Lambrettas around??
I know of only one other, again at Vizag, in much better/original condition, owned by a scooter mech. ther but he was asking 50k for it!!

Herez a dead Fantabulous, a short-lived 150cc scooter made by Enfield in the 50s & 60s, at a bike garage at hyd.....this one, going by the regn. seems to be a late 60s model....

These r very rare too (& very heavy as well!)....

Unftly cudnt take ne snaps of it as the mech. ther turned out to be quite a rude guy ...asked me to clear out wen I'd jus asked him wat vehicle it was!
