The person thier said that restoration was started once but was dropped as no parts were available
As Karl has said, its a late 40s Ford Anglia.....the 60s one (as seen in Harry Potter) looked much better IMO!

Uh, btw, 'wonder how come they got such an old car sitting at a newer car dealership??
Surely it wasnt meant for their customers....did it belong to the owner of the place or someone working there?

Karl, we should know our tribesmen better. A parsi owned vehicle will not be sold forever or it will just be gifted even though the owner has been offered pots of money. I got my first Norton Dominator the same way from Mumbai. Parsi owned, the owner would never part with it even though he was offered good money. He met me and gifted it to me.

true...how do you think I got my 1960 and 73 Fiat, plus my 1960 Standard 10?
at the risk of sounding pompous, my triumph is the only vehicle i didnt get from a parsee, and technically the only vehicle ive paid for! God bless my tribe...

I wouldn't mind being Kiran Mallya either . Heard he has a nice collection too. Multiple surnames are welcome.
