Takes me back to '65/'66. One of our school teachers (Mr. Daniels, migrated to Australia later) had the Standard 10 at the time - a bottle green example. We didn't see it again in Allahabad subsequently.

1962 Opel Kapitan. This car was restored in Bangalore about 18 months back

Hello All,
I am not really new to the forum. I have only not been very active. I have found this new found love for restoration thanks to a friend who has been restoring classics for quite some time now. I am on the look out for a VW beetle to restore. I saw a picture posted here showing one in HSR layout, Bangalore. Can someone please let me.know if it is still there? Or has it bought already?

This was a 1.6 Golf, but basic spec. This led to sit in the Hudson Circle dealer. It was in a pretty good condition. Sad to see it this way

Look what I found!!!

78 Oldsmobile Cutlass two door, a rarity in this part of the world (came for restoration, still a sad sight though). This is in Dehradun.

I was in Hyderabad and headed to have the trademark Biryani at one of their outlets as I walked down the stairs I chanced upon this. Not sure if these are abandoned or if it's a workshop or are these runners.

Any inputs if anyone has been here?
