Seems like a 325. Good use of old tires as a jack.
Wonder what happened to the car. Sad treatment!

Here is what appears to be a very original/complete Standard Super 10 left to rust & rot....! Although it certainly is restorable...atleast for now!
I'm afraid these were the only pics. of the car I found convenient to take.

The owner, whom I met, told me that his grandfather had bought the car new and it was in semi-regular use until 6-7 years ago & that they'd actually once made a trip upto Delhi & Amritsar in the car. Later we got to know that the mechanic who used to do up the car had passed away and it hadnt been used since.
The guy made it clear that he has no intention of selling the car or any parts from it (it has most of the original parts intact, barring a few that are destroyed or stolen! 'thought they'd be good enough for my pennant, much as I'd hate to resort to that!)...he says he plans to restore it....some day...doesnt have time to spare for it for now....'sound familiar? :P

I said I & my mech. would be willing to help him carry out the restoration if he is too pressed for time but he said he certainly intends to carry out a full-fledged resto....nevertheless we did exchange contact nos. so he said he'd call me as & when he's planning to start....'hope he means it!

Very much India. Not sure about which model. I'll get some pictures in the day.

Ya a 55 Millicento (see the round speedos with the bakelite covers) with wrong tail lights. The taillights are from the later say 1957 Dukkar AKA the 103.

Yup, E36 series a popular import in the 90s. (92-99). Seems to me that car is sitting for want of spare parts. Notice the ugly looking desi muffler hanging from the back. The problem is that once these imported cars end up with the 3rd or 4th owners they buy for the cheap price but simply cannot afford the service bills.

Wow, that is a surprisingly original car for the condition its in. It must be one of the earliest, going by that design of steeringwheel and door pad. What kind of grille did it have? At one point there were 13 permutations and combinations offered of the front valence!

Show the owner this picture, it might inspire him to see what his car can look like.

Turns out that my Landmaster deserves to be on this thread than on mine - it was truly disintegrating!!! Thats something we discovered while stripping off the paint.

Steering wheel: More than an earlier version it appears to be a replacement of the original.

As Karl said the owner can see the green std10 as well as this grey std10 to start up the restoration work without delay.
