No No no

Hi

Its NOT a maicomobil as well and Lambrocollect also does not have it.

Wait till I let you guys know it - can't till such time that I go and close the deal - its turning out to be a very steeply priced two wheeler from the 50's ~ 60's.

And now I am pretty sure that its perhaps the only one in the country to the best of my knowledge.

Cheers!

Saurabh

I think Tarun Thakral had a most unique looking Salisbury Salcette or something like that. Very strange looking scoot.

All the best to you for your purchase.

Hi Karl,

Thanks for your good wishes - need them as it is turning out to be a massive cat & mouse game with the seller.

And its now a Salcette as well.

Cheers!

Saurabh

I mean its NOT a Salcette as well.

Thanks.

Cheers!

And I'm sure discussing it on the forum (which everyone reads whether they admit it or not) can't help very much can it?

Cheers

Yeah I know - but couldn't keep the excitement just to myself! And also the fact that noone of the Team bhpians have been able to name it till now is confirming the fact that this machine is a very very very rare machine.

Lets see what happens.

Cheers!

there is a 60s Lamby 150 parked (seems to be a daily driver) near Baba Wine Shop at Matunga Road (Wrly) station. The owner might be wanting to sell it. Not sure whether is it for sale or not.

If I'm correct this is at a T junction near the tracks right? I see 2 scooters alternating - one is a MRY/MRW early series 2 in full black, the other a light and dark grey Lamby, probably MMI/MRI registered, not sure. A little further down the road is the shell of a dukkar Fiat in a garage.

Wow Saurab: U have really kept the people guessing. I hope the deal gets through. Is it a Cezeta? If it is, there are at least 3 of them down south.

Team-bhp not yet there

Hey Tramway!

Its not a Cezeta either!

I know its not the right thing to keep all of you guessing but I just wanted to see if this breed of Scoots is really known or not.

I am meeting the guy again today. The asking price is attrocious. I have found that there are JUST a handful of them left in the world. None has been spotted in India or this part of the world for quite some time. And here I find one with its papers!

I am trying to get to a reasonable price and then disclose to all of you. The reason is that I dont want anyone else jumping into this deal at this point in time and spoiling the negotiations.

I know for sure that there are no other guys in North atleast who own a machinelike thisone so want to pursue the deal and close it.

Parts are going to be the next big issue but when you have such a rare machine one can go to any length to re-man the parts.

Lets see what happens.

Waiting with crossed fingers and bated breath!

Cheers!

PS: Have you made up your mind about the parts yet?
