Can u Broaden your search to Nashik and near by villages as lots of Lambrettas were there and you might be lucky

Meanwhile i will also start restoration of our 1962 Lambretta soon

Hmm.....something bit of a mix here- the badge says mark II, which came only in 1984-85 and with a turning mudguard (I had one, was my first scooter- but I later converted it to the original mudguard as this one has) although the spare tyre bracket is correct.
'74 would have been a Vijai Deluxe. twas known as Vijai Super only from the late 70s.

Then its a Vijai Deluxe for sure. That mk2 Super badge would obviously be an add-on.

On one of my recent visits to Pune, I spotted a Lambretta sitting in the garage of a distant relative. I could see that it's been unused for many days (possibly a few years), but since I am not an expert, I don't know its lineage. However if any of you guys are serious, drop me a message. I may make some enquiries about whether they want to sell it and so on.

PS: I had also captured a photo of the scooter, but it's in print. I don't know when I shall get time to scan it. It looks to be in a (relatively) good condition considering it's now unused and it's an old piece.

Hey thanks for your concerns. I got my Lambretta few months ago. A reasonably well maintained 1964 make. I have not started restoration yet. Would love to see the restoration on your lambretta though.

I agree with Shyam here. If its a 1974 scooter then it has to be a Vijai Deluxe, that too a pretty rare one. Good luck with that.. My gradfather used to have one, a 1975-76 model i think. I hope you will get this one.
