Patrick Rollet, the President of Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA), is visiting India and will be at the Osianama (Mumbai) on the 20th and 21st of February 2015. Rollet will address the vintage and classic car collectors, enthusiasts, professionals & media as a part of the conference & master classes organized by Osianama’s Vintage & Classic Automobile Club.

Coinciding with his visit, Osianama has also arranged an exhibition of the some of the finest classic cars, with a focus on the Rolls Royce. Models from Mercedes Benz, Invicta, Pierce Arrow, among others, will also be present.

There will be a debate centered around the global supremacy of Rolls-Royce in Vintage and Classic Cars. André Blaize, a man who has developed the most extensive database of each and every Rolls-Royce manufactured till WW II, apart from authoring several books, will be speaking in favour of Rolls-Royce. Arguing against him will be Serge Cordey, the editor and publisher of the French edition of Classic & Sports Car magazine, and designer-writer/design critic Robert Cumberford, with both presenting arguments in favour of French, German and American manufacturers.

The Osianama Vintage & Classic Automobile Club has organised a seminar on The Art of Motorsport on March 27, 2015. The keynote address of the seminar will be delivered by French former woman car rally driver, Michele Mouton. She will talk on 'The Historical Contribution of Women in Motorsport'.



Michele Mouton is arguably the most well-known female rally driver of all time and probably the most successful woman in motor racing. She is the first woman to compete in motor racing at the world level, finishing second overall in the 1982 World Rally Championship after wins in Portugal, Brazil and Acropolis. She was the first (and so far the only) woman to win a round of the World Rally Championship, the Rallye Sanremo in 1981. She is considered the world's fastest woman car rallyist.



Apart from the address by Michele Mouton, there will be a panel discussion on 'The Art of Motorsport: India, Women, Patrimony and Classic Assets', which will be participated in by Adil Darukhanawala, Nazir Hoosein, Iris Hummel, Ravi Kumar, Dr. Ravi Prakash, Bob Rupani, Nawaz Sandhu, Gautam Sen, Vikram Singh, Harit Trivedi and Neville Tuli.

Classic racing automobiles, including twelve classic racing cars owned by Indian collectors will be displayed. Osianama will also screen the film 'Senna', a biopic on legendary Brazilian three-time Formula 1 champion, Ayrton Senna. All events are free for the public.
