The RD was not a focused display. These bikes were part of certain collections, and were displayed for pure eye candy.
The RD again, is sort of an international legend, and I feel is as in or out of place as a w123 merc.
The RD's displayed at the event were extremely detailed ones and not one among the tons of trashy bikes on the road, with random dealers. Quote:

For example in Karnataka Vintage and Classic Car Club, we do not allow later models cars/bikes and modified cars are a strict NO. KVCCC is open up to 1970, but should be a Classic(not mass produced, engine, bodywork etc). For example a 1969 Amby will not qualify for participation.
If you look at the Historical Vehicle Movement, classification of vehicles is as below - Veteran – Veteran is an automobile constructed up to December 1905
- Edwardian – Edwardian is an automobile built from January 1905 to December 1919
- Vintage – Vintage is an automobile built from January 1920 to December 1939
- Classic - Classic is a "fine" or "distinctive" automobile, foreign built, produced from January 1940 to December 1959. Other factors, including engine displacement, coachwork and luxury accessories, help determine whether a car is considered a Classic
This list is expanded by India Clubs to include Modern Classics, Indian Classics, Specials etc.
Guess CVC has a more open definition as who can participate.
Cheers

CVC is pretty strict on the vehicles it accepts, and turned down a large number of vehicles which did not meet the quality/originality criteria.
There were some vehicles which still turned up, but were not part of the main display.
This being the first big event in the state, has been a huge learning for all of us, and future events will take things up several notches. Quote:

The rider has to tuck in his legs on to the side pads provided, which gives that tricky look you felt.

If you need more information please contact the event coordinator Suresh or Jomey whose got all the details.

The pocket bike is a Yamaha 35CC bike, and was not kept on display. It did a couple of laps at the venue, during the inauguration and was taken back after a bit.
