Having lived in Goa in 1978-81, and still a frequent visitor that has seen the state ruined in parts, these are welcome evocative photos. Not close to how I knew the place of course, but a lot closer to how it was in 1978 than to how it is now compared to 1978.

What price progress?

Very nice; this still exists in much the same form. Again, very evocative, having lived in the vicinity for a year in 1980, when commuting to Panjim to work.
