1st Photo shows the huge Gasolene
or Petrol Tanks at Vasco in 1954.
The same were replaced by Indian
oil tanks around 1970.
Similarly Standard Vacuum company
(Later known as Esso) was in Goa.
Price of Petrol in 1954 was 2 Rupias
per Gallon (4½ Litre) in Goa.
A glass bottle of 1 gallon used to be
available on Petrol pumps.
Burmah shell company Advertisement
is from a 1932 Goan paper.
