yes amatmo he had the blue one which is used to hold the camera for the shoots. he also had a chevy that was chopped to make it a convertible and has come in music video's so i am guessing it must be his cars.

is that really a chevy truck or just my illusion?

That is a Chevy converted pickup, probably from a Caryall or a Suburban. You will find a few of these which are mainly used for mounting the camera and shooting on the move.

The cabrio in question nobody will ever be able to guess, if it is BYJ 7007. Confirm that to me and I will tell you the fascinating story behind this MB Special.

Cheers
Karl
I wish it belonged to me but then it would not be lent for ads and would'nt be in such a "Thook-Pati" shape. I would be game to aquire the two VWs in question though, the bug as well as the Microbus.

The Cabrio looks like a having Jag wheel nuts on a Austin/Morris chassis with inspiration from the Triumph TRs. A hybrid job in my opinion.
Note the Horribly made doors

Ed, your pics. of those cars with the amoebic decals reminded me of this 1940s Ford V8(?) Super deluxe I (& nitrous) saw half-hidden in a shed in Madras...

Peeping inside we also spotted a much better looking/immaculate Dodge Kingsway (on the right of the Ford).....we were told the owner lets them out for film shootings.
