I saw this vintage beauty at Saket Select Citywalk mall, New Delhi on 24/25 November. Clicked the picture with my mobile, but being shy of appearing too inquisitive and intrusive, did not take a walk around the vehicle to take pictures of the rear-end. Hence, my inability to correctly identify the make , model and year. Anyone knows?

Mods - please move this elsewhere in case the post is inappropriate to the thread.

Looks like an Austin 16.

Spot on - It is a 1946 Austin. The photograph would have been taken on the 1st of December and not 24/25 Nov though

Shivraj - Correct 1st December. I am sorry I had put the sighting on the wrong weekend. Can you tell us a bit more about the car? It seems such a nice example !

As i mentioned before it's part of the first batch of post war Austin 16's (1946) I've had the car for a bit over year.. Haven't done much to it in terms of giving it the paint job it deserves and instead ensured that it's mechanically prefect. Been using it as a daily driver in tandem with my Hillman since the weather started permitting in early November.

A littel puzzle for everyone, Spotted one RED Vauxhall in Bangalore, Its behind this Awesome Ponton, Can anyone throw some light on WHAT On Earth is that Model..?

BTW, it's front windshield is from a PREMIER PADMINI and has a Contessa Petrol Engine

That's a fabricated model chop shop home job . I forget the guys name . On a 1947 chassis

It is a 1934 Ford Model B! Should be the V8 model judging by the script on the front grill. The surroundings, clothing and the fact that it's a LHD suggests that it isn't in India.
