Lunaya is a world-wide expedition (40 countries so far) mixing a technology of the 70′s (a modified Citroen DS ambulance) with new technologies (Internet, email, etc). (French site)

Spotted this late 60s/early 70s (?) Datsun sedan in Bombay. Quite handsome.

This is a Nagpur car and was with a broker since January' 13 or even earlier. He was expecting a high price.

But now it appears that he might have settled a deal.

Re: Pics: Vintage & Classic cars in India

That's our friend Venkat and his beauty. Travelled with the group to Mahableshwar and was most energetic when it came to changing my flat tyre on the expressway A delightful gentleman with a lovely car regularly seen driving between Poona and Bombay. I believe the car normally resides in Poona

Is that a chocolate-and-cream colour combo? Can't make out from here. A convertible makes for a lovely picture indeed. Interesting to see that the brown anti-rust treatment/laquer on the brightwork is still in vogue there, or is that rust only on the bumper? Damn I miss the Bombay-Poona expressway - been three long months!! This is the best time to be on it though, in the rains. Think I'll just head out...

Thanks, now it looks like it has a bit of maroon/magenta thrown in - and of course it clearly looks like a metallic shade now, whatever it be. And yes, that's rust on the brightwork. Dollops of it!!

Can someone please tell me which car is this. Pardon my knowledge about vintage cars. Saw it in the basement parking lot of Hotel Lalit, Delhi.

The radiator grille surround looks like a Buick. I cannot recognize the horizontal grille slats, however. May not be original.

Found this beauty nuzzled up in a corner, apparently belongs to some Englishman and has come here to be restored.

Which car is this? I can't seem to be able to put finger on the exact model.

I did not venture any closer to get pics as there was a dog which started snarling every time I came within 10ft of the car.

Going by the split screen it appears to be a Jaguar MK VII. Quite amusing to see a dog guarding a Jaguar.
