I always used to wonder who'd abandon such a lovely location for a house. Always thought that it would be under litigation. An enclosed garage in such dilipated buildings always attracts our attention, doesn't it?

The former owner is a friend and has all the cars details, but living now on borrowed time. If the current owner gets in touch with me, a lot of history can be learnt, but seems as if he is only interested in sending the Packard out for weddings

This 1951 Sunbeam Talbot was recently restored by Mr. Vinay. This car has been with a well known family from Kerala since new. Was in bad shape, excellent restoration job.

These photos are absolutely priceless. The '36 Buick Phaeton is only the second one I have ever seen, and RHD? No. Never in my life. The '54 Plymouth convert, the 36 or 37 Cadillac 62 model. What a great find and what a great sleuth. Thank you.

Guys, I need a little help. A friend is doing a photo shoot themed on the older Bangalore and requires a Vintage car for the shoot on 28/29/30 of this month in Bangalore. Not particular of the make or model but must just look good and old.
Any kind of help and I shall be very grateful.

You could contact the excellent FIAT 1100 Club of Bangalore.

1100D's and Millecentos/Selects/SuperSelects shall suit old time Bangalore, as they are well suited to the theme. "Garden City" indeed? Eh!

That lovely fastback looks to be a Bentley S type (not seen too many with the fastback). It was spotted in Bombay too. Probably driving through India. Lucky guy!

Dug out some info on the car / owner.

The owner is a foreign national visiting India on business. He has business interests in Hazira, near Surat. Every time he comes, he stays at this same hotel and brings along one Vintage / Classic. Last year he was here he had with him a superbly maintained Merc. Now we have is a Bentley.

He was seen in Mumbai as well as he landed there and drove down to Surat. The car is running on intl plates. Not sure which country the owner / car is from.
