There used to be another Minor in Pune- BYH 1523- pics posted by Karl years ago. And another one used to be parked in Gokhale Nagar, Model Colony in white. Again- BYH plated, IIRC.

All Minors were floor shift, never column shift. The Oxford MO was column shift. The 2 cars you mention were also not Minors, but Hindustan 14s/Oxford MOs.

Every once in a while- Some real gems turn up.

Ladies and Gentlemen, BYF 8106 & BYF 8110 were quite possibly registered in the same day at the Pune RTO. BYF is Pune (), upto 1954. These would probably have been registered in the 1951-53 timeframe.

BYF 8110- seen here in either Pune/Goa. The petrol pump looks vaguely familiar- Somewhere in Pune.

I used to have one of these Fiat 850 Coupe's in Hyderabad long ago. Mine was red to but didn't have the twin headlamps.

There was one with twin lamps lying in a garage in Hyd for ages as well.

Lovely little cars with twin choke weber carbs and factory headers, went quiet fast too.

Where in Hyderabad is/was this garage you speak of? I vaguely remember seeing one as you describe, and in a garage, somewhere here but cannot recall where or how long ago.

The one with the twin headlamps was lying in a garage towards the Sec bad end of Tank Bund behind that hotel opp sailing club.

Theses cars came in three shapes, standard coupe, sports coupe and convertible. The was a standard coupe too lying off the road near the High Courts and then the BE guys had a convertible.

I think in Hyd there were three sports coupes in total in those days.

Cannot recall if I had seen the 850 in that garage but there was an older, 20s car (Ford Model A/B I guess- only the rear was visible) junking away for ages there. 'remember seeing it until the early 2ks. 'wish I'd stopped to take pics. of it!

Er.. I can't claim to be sure about it, since I didn't spot the car personally. I was told that the car was spotted in Kerala; near Guruvayoor to be precise, but I can't vouch for that.

If near Guruvayoor,it could be correct,because there is a big collection of cars with a group there and many of their cars are TN registered

Found some pictures of an event I attended way back in 2010 in Leisure Valley, Gurgaon. It was called 'Auto Mall' IIRC. There were only a dozen vintage/classic cars of which many had already attended the Statesman Rally that year like the 1927 Chevrolet, Belair, Plymouth PJ6, Ford's Amphibian 'Seep', Willys jeep etc. Good quality pictures already shared at.

The Fiat 850 shown the picture belongs to a famous hotel owner in Coimbatore . He has few other cars too and are usually parked near the hotel entrance
