This was from a few weeks ago when there were fewer cars in the warehouse / delivery bay.

Thanks. The Dodge seems small next to Dad's Chrysler

Temporary arrangement Ram for the next few months, as the shed in the same compound became free.

Wow, that's a really neat place! And, apologies- though I do admire all the other cars- I got more than a smile on my face seeing TWO Heralds parked there!
The black one looks like a real gem, while the red and white one could follow suit one day! But glad to find these two atleast that are not messed around, namely being turned into "convertables" ("But isn't that why it came with a detachable roof?" )

This is an example of the Chrysler Corp export policy; "a Plymouth in Dodge clothing." My question is this, does the beautiful little Dodge Convertible have the 315 hemi head V-8 which was an option in 1953 and 1954, or the 217 inch Plymouth or 230 inch Dodge flathead in-line six cylinder engine. Incidentally, the 230 inch Dodge engine became the base engine in Plymouth automobiles in mid-1954 I haveseen pictures of this kind of export, and a few real autos, the most common coming from Canada. GM did the same thing with Chevrolets in Pontiac clothing or trim. Great photos, regardless.

In 1954 Plymouth offered larger engine from its sister division Dodge, a 230ci, 110hp engine in addition to the 217 ci engine from Plymouth. To differentiate between the two, the 230 engine serial number was prefixed by a "diamond" before the code number.

Seen is the picture from my car which shows the “diamond between D & P. Hence the engine on my car is the bigger Dodge 230ci or 3769 CC

More details can be seen on my restoration thread

This is interesting. I'm a big fan of Nicholas Roerich's paintings. Where is this car situated?
