Yes the green car is a Morris Eight. But I now think Anjan has been talking about another car on a previous page. Accessing the page on the phone can create these confusions because of the small size of the display and pictures.

A 'Sixties FIAT 1100 Delight taxi is seen here, photographed in Bombay, circa 2007.

Ladies and gentlemen- here's presenting MRK 8799.

MRK would be a 'Sixties Bombay number. I daresay that the locality looks familiar.

Bombay seemed so very *retro* in 2007. Nowadays, the 1100D /PP taxies are almost gone, and the double decker buses are hardly seen.

One could argue that the entire *soul* of Bombay has changed - In less than a decade. Sigh.

Good catch. They are owned by the owner of the dealership. As per a friend who worked there for a while, the beetle was dismantled to be restored a couple of years ago.
