Incidentally many years back as I child I met one Brig. Bajaj in Pune who was driving an identical car. Never saw it again, wonder if it is the same.

Thanks to moralfibre for the link.

These Singer Roadsters were very popular in India.

There were 5 to 6 such cars in Hyderabad itself.

There were two sisters Ms. Nandi and Mrs Cottel and both had same model roadsters, one brown/ maroon and one black. Not sure where the black one went but the other was willed to Rashed nawab by Mrs Cottel who was incidently Inder Krishnama's aunt.

The there was the white roadster with Sanjar Ali Khan who was a scientist with RRL. I am told he still owns it.

The Khairtabad collect haas one in black that used to be with a friends mom.

Nice collection. Best is the 1960 Chevy, it is pillarless.
The Merc looks very clean, better pictures if possible.
One car is seen from the dash, is that a Morris?
The red Morris 2 door looks modded, hope he has atleast kept original rims so that he could revert.

Cheers harit

The Suburban has a windscreen transplant and the most unique/peculiar tinwork- shape. They could made do with a slightly smaller one instead giving the A pillar err WINGS/EARS

Looks to me as if a Pick up was re-bodied as an estate. See rear lights and tail gate.

Here is a very unique and handsome 1950/51 Chevy Styline Deluxe Station Wagon I found online some time back. Possibly unique in our parts. Interesting to see it is a right hand drive car

This one was snapped in Hyderabad itself. Unfortunately there was no registration number on it.

Oh yes Mahindra/mitsubishi tail lights and perplex glass on most rear windows! These were nice I was offered a couple by a buddy in Indore they were diesel but in Mumbai city it is like driving and parking a bus I sweat at that prospect.

That woody is a very neat car....possibly one of a kind in India and looks well looked after too.

What a charm
