No disrespect to the other marques, but in terms of history, heritage and variety on offer, I think Mercedes-Benz just takes the cake and how!

What a collection! From Hitler to African dictators these cars have some serious legacy. The one you mentioned being brought from one of the German generals sounds like an amazing story, do share if you know more.

I think online (Instagram and Facebook primarily) would be the best. Apart from that, I think finding any Mercedes/Classic owners groups around you would be another way to go.

MBCCR 2020 entry guidelines

Keeping in mind the situation surrounding COVID-19, the Mercedes-Benz Classic Car Rally 2020 will be held following all the standard government SOPs and social distancing rules. This also means that the number of entries for this year will be limited.

All Mercedes-Benz passenger cars produced up to 1996 have been eligible to participate in the event in the past editions. In addition, the following models produced until the end of their life-cycle are eligible to participate as well:

R129 SL Class (all years)
R170 SLK Class (all years)
C208 CLK Class (all years)
W140 S Class (all years)
W124 E Class (all years)
W202 C Class (all years)
W461 G Class (all years)
W163 ML Class (up to 2001)
