Classic Maruti Day, 2019 - A meet & drive with early Maruti models

i've yesterday attended the Bangalore meet of Maruti Classic Day 2021. Drove my Gypsy to the event. Though a rogue, I'm happy that Gypsy qualifies as a classic in the Maruti line up

The event was just about owners gathering and lining up their cars and a small drive together.

Whatever Maruti might be known for now, can't deny they have played a massive part in Indian personal automotive history.

Just realized we've had quite a few Marutis - starting with the original 800, then an Omni (I learned to drive on that one), an Alto and now the new Swift. If I had parking space, would buy a Gypsy in a heartbeat!
