Im not sure to be honest. Didnt get a close look or take any more pics. But the chrome trim placement tells me its a winter top bolted on.

Yup, after the door frame it looks like a removable hard top.

Nope Karlos Singh, the Canary Yellow cars belong to a different client who also owns the Dodge Limo (you know who) while the Merc belongs to a different client who also has quite a few Merc's.

Yup, that's an LS 400. And yeah this is the first Station Wagon Bel-Air that i've seen too, maybe Karlos or V-16 can throw some more light on this.

P.S. No bulb jokes please!

Want me to post some more delicious Charger pics?
It is a 1957 Belair Station Wagon. I presume, looking at the hubs and the trim its a Belair Nomad. There were a few of these in India but numbers are dwindling. There was a pristine example of such a car , a 1956 but on Altamount road some years back. Mint condition but suddenly dissapeared. Was told it got sold abroad

Yup, thats a rare Bel Air wagon. I remember her, I think she had a WBE regn. The Nomad always featured gorgeous vertical chrome trim on the rear hatch, which this car doesnt have, so im not 100% sure of it would be badged a Nomad. Heres a 55 for reference.

OT - 1954 also saw a Corvette Nomad concept. Executed very well, however pointless we may think it to be! Perhaps the Sultan of Brunei, who has a thing for exotic wagons, would fancy one.

Looking forward to the 116 pics!

Yeah! that one's a nomad for sure! but they seem to be missing the chrome tri at the back! If anyone remembers the comedy series ' Home Improvement' , Tim Allen Had an immaculate '55 nomad in it!

Oh yeah! And if I remember right, it was his wife's car, and he parked it under a crane, and a massive beam fell on it and totalled it. I was horrified to see them actually do it, not using special effects.

Wow, I never knew they'd planned one on the Corveette! That's interesting to know!

I guess the Nomad in question lost some/most of its rear chrome trim so the rest was taken off & the whole hatch was done up clean....?

As far as I know Bel Air Nomad never came in the 4 door version. This one is a 1957 Chevy 210 Station Wagon.

1957 Chevy Station Wagon could be had in the Townsman six passenger or the Beauville nine passenger version. The 210 four door, six passenger model was Chevy's top selling station wagon in 1957.
