Hey Guys ,

They just accumulated over the years , I was not aware of the existence of a forum such as Team BHP and a bunch of like minded individuals. Well, Lucknow is backwaters compared to Mumbai , Delhi , Chennai , Kolkata or Bangalore and had already been stripped by the big collectors so I had to start by first locating the cars and corraling them , then my younger brother had to work with the manuals and the mechanics to get the operation off the ground . Thus the manuals kept accumulating .
Presently on the forum I seem to be the lone representative for the Hindi Belt excluding Delhi.

The Model A , Jaguar , Plymouth , Jeep , Ford , Hepolite , Payen manuals are original so are the Books others are copies as obtained or downloaded, the Sunbeam manuals are as provided by STD register.

I am still a working ship master , so every time I comeback it is with a bunch of manuals , magazines and whitewalls for one car. By the way I will be off again in the first week of September for 3 months .

i would not consider lucknow as backwaters as most of the cars are now available there and is an untouched city. the metros like you have rightly pointed out has been stripped off by collectors, but you still can manage a few crumbs here and there.
i can imagine how difficult it must have been for you and your brother but one fine job done i must say.
as long as there are cars and like minded people like us you are never alone. its one big happy car family.

some of the vintage cars lie in garages frequented by auto and taxi drivers and sometimes monograms do fall off vintage cars if not fitted properly which is picked up and used to ornament the auto and taxi's. some taxi in bombay has a mustang grill monogram that fell off my uncles car.
