FHVI (Federation of Historic Vehicles in India) organised the Historic Cars & Motorcycles Meet at ITC Windsor, Bangalore. Around 40 historic cars and 30 historic motorcycles participated.

Very well organised by Dr Ravi Prakash, Roopali and was nice to meet senior members like Ramaprasad, Bullet Krishnappa.

I did coincidentally pass through the location around 3.30PM during which time the meet was mostly over. I followed the Dodge (APX 2572) till Basaveshwara circle. It was driving as smooth as silk. Too bad i couldn't peek inside.

Like these senior, veteran and vintage/ historic vehicles.
I wish, like other countries’ governments have, ours also wakes up and accepts the fact that well cared for and maintained, sparingly used vehicles of all ages are amongst the most innocent when it comes to emission control and therefore not to be unjustly blamed in their current draconian fashion. And I wish also they would make such a pronouncement official. Let them charge an annual green tax if they want, at a reasonable price. The world will be a better place when these lovely vehicles are allowed to flourish.
