I can spot some rust under the front wheel arch, apart from that she looks to be reasonably ok.

The car looks in good restorable condition. Flicked logos can be replaced. I noticed the rust too but should not be a problem. I bet Gogi is already on his way there as I type. Lets hear his comments on the car once hes back.

Here is another of the same type very well mantained. Only prob is the Engine isnt orignal. its has a Merc diesel engine..Previously had a Petrol engine.

RT, these cars real good once they are restored.

Cheers Ed.

( Havent blanked out the number plate as the car pic had appeared in the local newspapers.)

Gogi's silence only means one thing. We're about to see a new thread on a new restoration soon!

The car looks like its just been done up....

Incdientally I remember reading an ad about a similar minor (ie. with a Herald engine transplant) down south in Auto India a few years ago....makes me sad to find my favourite car's engine making its way down to other cars (nothing against those of course!)

Hi

I dont mind the engine.
The Price he is asking is high considering decrease in originality.

Theres a similar one but with a original engine in non restored state. Hes asking 2lakhs for it. Earlier he was asking 1lakh in same or rather better condition as it is kept exposed to elements.

shreeram the car from the exterior does not need much work. the steering seems wrong and the interiors missing window frame in the car. is the car being worked on. 90k for this is high. ideally should be less.

Ideally, these cars should be for 10k each, mint, with no expense, and all original fittings, new tyres, battreys, low milage single caring owner. Welcome to reality.

10k a mint minor are you serious. i have never come across a mint one for that price. according to me you should be given one for free , or your trying to send out a message to anyone who is reading the posts to donate their car to you .
