| Re: Classic Cars available for purchase Hi Everyone, I have a 1970 Fiat 1100D, owned by Grandfather who bought it from a businessman in the 80's and has been in the family since. I've really been attached to it but never had the finances or permission to drive it. It was restored in 2006 and then has been sitting in the garage for almost a decade after which I decided to get it running after I got a job and brought my own car. The floors are in good enough nick as they were replaced, rear panels are rusty, have a few holes to be frank. Front suspension needs work, mostly the springs need to be replaced. Brakes are all good. Clutch is drive able but will need to be replaced probably. Overall body is in good shape. My grandpa however replaced the engine with one from a 74 PP probably somewhere down the line. It's nowhere near original i guess, the meter was replaced (i have the original one though), don't have the hub caps, the push button boot lid lock was replaced etc. It's in complete running condition and I drive it on weekends currently. Would be willing to sell it if it makes sense or is a win-win for me and the seller, dint mind keeping it with me in case the value is very low as I just spent approximately 20k on the battery etc just to get it running. And yes it does need new rubber. Positing a few pics if anyone is interested. Would be great if someone could share what's the current value.
