Year. 1941
Engine. 900cc, 4 cyl, side valve
Transmission. 4spd Manual
Kms driven. No Idea
Right Hand Drive.
Restoration completed. All original car / body and motor parts. Recently upholstered Seats and floor bed.
The Only adulteration is wheels and meters.

Registration. Heritage Number. Papers all complete and Transferable. NOC etc will be provided.
Vehicle in excellent condition.

Can you please shed light on what you mean by "HERITAGE " number.Have they started issuing Vintage plates in Chandigarh.?

Heritage Numbers are old series of Registration numbers which are no more issued. For eg. DDL724, CHS761 etc etc. This has nothing to do with Vintage plates.

That was the numbering system prior to July1989 when the new numbering system came into effect. They were usually referred to as "period'' numbers.Never heard a "HERITAGE" tag attached to it!!.

Well in North India and mostly Punjab region they are known as "Heritage Numbers". They also carry a premium on them as most people around here retain them on new cars

That Number Portability is possible only in very few states like Punjab,Haryana etc.That could very well be the reason they may be referred by that 'tag'

Heritage numbers / pre 1989 numbers can be retained in Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur as of now. Many high end cars in these states have the pre 1989 plates, which truly makes these cars look more exclusive.

Those pictures make me go weak in the knees. What a beauty, the Trans Am. How is it legal to drive on Indian roads, though, being left hand drive?

If it has a registration plate, then its legal. From the looks of it , i see no problems. Though i am no road rules expert.

Importing of vehicles is a complex rule. Most restrictions are for the Indian citizen importing the vehicles. For NRIs, who have stayed for longer durations, there are some relaxations.
