As is evident from the images, every minute detail of the factory specifications has been looked into while restoring the car. The owner has himself taken personal efforts, skill and care for the meticulous restoration. Incidentally, the owner is brother of a Guiness Book of World Records holder Mr Iqbal Ahmed, who had fabricated a miniature working steam engine in his own workshop. Only serious buyers who have an eye for the beautiful please message me so that I can pass on the contact number of the owner who ha sas a friend requested me to post the details and images. Papers are upto date and the car is in perfect running condition. The enthusiast has very recently done the engine work which is now flawless. The car is being sold only due to lack of parking space.                               |

| Re: Classic Cars available for purchase Hello forum contributors. I am looking to purchase a w108 in good condition and am not one to shy away from works the car may need. There is a lot of sentimental value attached to the vertically arranged headlights' Mercedes' and have thought about making this purchase for a long time now. What approximate and basic prices should I be ready to pay since asks are going above the sky now.  A car i'm looking at is a 1968 w108 250s petrol auto box LHD and does require 5-8Lakhs worth of work.. What should i be paying for such an example since it is available locally and is also being sold by a veteran TBhp member? (Peace of mind wrt seller not being dubious) Please give me prospective leads on other examples available as well! Cheers, 99octane |
