Team-BHP - Treasure(?) in a field??

I saw this car in a plot near my house. It as not there before, so guess it was put there recently.Think it is a '56 ford popular, is it?? i think the owner started a resto project on it, judging by the color, and maybe left it miway. The floorboards are completely rusted away, while the rest of the body seems okay. It still has the engine though, and it has the original rims too.All the badging and monograms are missing tho, so are the interior fittings. Maybe this can be resored, or a parts car??(body panels)

Hey nice pics. JayD! It looks like a Ford Popular going by the front grille (its a 2-door right?)....but a late 40s/early 50s model.

she does look like a ford popular late 40's model two door. the pictures are very nice jayd its a pitty the owner has dumped this car. the car looks vandilised completely or the parts were taken off when the owner tried to start work on it.

This could either be a Popular or an Anglia, as the Popular was nothing but the Anglia with the Prefect engine. Since you say say its recently moved here, its hopefully still a project. Been recently sprayed in undercoating I can see.
