Alongwith JayD, I would be interested in the W115 (green) in the background.
Is it for sale?

There was also a brown colour offered called Buckskin. Im afraid Ive never seen it, so cant comment on what kind of colour that would be.

Buckskin Ive seen it offered only in the Gazel brochures so far. Its a light beige-ish colour, Ive seen a couple of Gazels in that colour here, one of them has a TN regn. and is junking away in the backyard of an old bungalow right next to Shoppers' stop on the road to the Begumpet aiport.

Heralds look very nice in Powder Blue or Red. Second best will be Phantom Grey, Litchfield green or Winchester Blue

Since we are somewhat on the subject, here are few pics of my dad and his Mk2 which he bought in great condition from the first owner around 83. He sold it around 87, and swore never to touch a Herald again after the trouble the car gave him. very surprising since his car was always very well looked after. 20 years later Im still trying to convince him to get one!

The first 2 pictures were taken at Panchgani, the last one at Lonavala. Thats my sister in the 2nd pic

Still a terrific looker, the herald. Where would you get a low slung 2 door car now in India ? The car looks as stylish as your Dad if not more. terrific picture karlos.

Unfortunately the low slung look is what didnt appeal to my parents hence thats mostly why they felt dissuaded from buying a Herald back then! Ironically they didnt mind the M800 having the same kind of ground clearance when they bought one years later!

How I wish my dad had a Herald! :sighhhhhhhhhhhhh:

Behram dhabhar was interested too- infact he nearly bought the one I ended up buying!

Mr. Ananth, please find out the overall condition of the car- if its with papers somebody could buy it, if not then I'll buy it for the parts only, that too if its complete....thats it.

Do get us some pictures when you see the car. That, alongwith price details, will help us take a decision.
