on the 4th of August we are having a KVCCC Rally starting from Windsor Manor. The rally would be in honour of freedom fighters. The rally is expected to be flagged of at 8.30 a.m.

Most welcome to come and see the cars. Do catch up with me. However, FCB guys may not find Fiat 1100's though. The event is planned for 40 cars and 10 bikes.

The route has been finalized but you have to wait for a few days for the timelines

Start at Windsor Manor -> Sankey Road ->Right to Basverswara Road-> High Point-> Right to Race Course Road -> Left to Seshadri Road -> Freedom Park -> Seshadri Road -> Cubbon Park - Left to MG Road -> U Turn at Trinity Circle -> M G Road -> Left to Lavelle Road, Right to Vital Mallya Road, UB City -> Left to Mallya Hospital -> Gardenia Halt. The total distance would be around 13 kms.

The plan is to honour few Freedom Fighters at the Freedom Park and we are expecting a special guest to grace the function. More details will be given later.

BHPian's are most welcome to choose their spot to see the cars.

The DNA has mentioned in the article of a Studebaker Commander from the Nabha stable ! ... isn't that car existing in Mr Dossa's stable which I am sure and this could be a made up story by the owner of the commander. I don't doubt but there can be more than one in the erstwhile states collection. Can we have some details if the car does participate

This is the 1947 Studebaker Commander Regal Deluxe Convertible Coupe acquired HH Pratap Singh Malvinder Bahadur of Nabha. Detailed write up is seen in Gautam Sen's book on the Maharaja cars

You remember this car came from the Titus collection to Doc

The rally will be flagged off around 10.30 a.m. and cars are expected to roll in by 8 a.m. onwards.

Today's rally was a grand success. The turnout was in expected lines. We honoured Freedom Fighter and our Chief guest was the State Home Minister Mr. K J George. The general public really enjoyed the event.

Most of the cars have been discussed in the past, hence only the pictures

At the Freedom Park (former Central Jail) we facilitated freedom fighters and scholars by honouring them. They were taken in the vintage cars to the venue.




The Minister is seen next to Doc. Must appreciate his patience and his willingness to be part of this event.

Nice event, all cars look maintained, I would not qualify.
The Stude Convertible need to lose those rims, very unsuitable.
I wonder if permission to hold this event was taken from our national body.

BMY 7225 Mercedes-Benz left Mumbai maybe 20 years ago. This was the Brookland Garage car on Hughes Road.
